Winemaking Notes: 100% Gewurztraminer from Summerland. This wine has 4-8 hours of skin contact prior to fermentation to extract the delicate aromatics. Gewurztraminer can lose it’s acidity quickly during the ripening period, so our approach is to enhance the body & richness that Gewurztraminer can offer.
Tasting Notes: The nose boasts of ruby red grapefruit, white peach & fresh flowers. On the palate you will find a hint of rose petal, lavender, grapefruit peel, lychee & dried apricot. The sweetness is balanced with a long, lingering finish.
Food Pairing: Pad Thai, homemade pumpkin gnocchi with brown butter sage sauce, & even spicy chicken wings. For a cheese pairing, try stilton or aged gouda.
