Recapping Our 2020 Harvest: Shipping is on us for a limited time!

It’s been a busy few weeks here at Dirty Laundry Vineyard. There’s been many early mornings, late nights, and a lot of hard work by our team to round out the 2020 harvest season.

You already know 2020’s been a unique year for many reasons, but we want you to know there’s no shortage of great wine to be had as we head into the holidays.

We also wanted to share a few quick updates with you, as well as some amazing promotions you won’t want to miss.

• COVID-19 changed the intern process completely. Our vineyard typically relies on international interns that want to experience the wine industry. This year, our intern team was made up of local Canadians, and we couldn’t be happier. It was amazing connecting with passionate young interns and giving them an opportunity to experience the Okanagan wine industry first-hand.
• Head winemaker Mason and assistant winemaker Bree completed their first vintages. This year marked a major milestone for both Mason and Bree, our talented winemakers. Mason successfully created a vintage red wine, while Bree focused on white wines with guidance from Mason. These wines will become exclusively available to members of our wine club.
• This year’s fruit was GORGEOUS. We were extremely relieved that the final harvest produced clean fruit that was concentrated, clean, and perfect to play with. This was a huge relief as the previous harvest produced smaller berries. The latest batch was incredibly high-quality, needed little guidance, and tasted perfect. It was a tough choice for our team to decide what blends to use in our Estate Wines.
• There was no shortage of great music too. We believe great wine and music go hand in hand, which is why we dialed the volume up to 10 and blasted countless funk, 90’s hip hop, and metal tracks.
• What about this year’s must-have harvest snacks? We’re glad you asked. Our team’s go-to favorites included 7-layer dips, Dad’s cookies, beef jerky, and English Bay cookies.
