Dirty Laundry Vineyard Releases 2017 Vintages

    May 10, 2019

New reds to hit the market include standout Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah

    Summerland, B.C. (April 22, 2019)

Dirty Laundry Vineyard (DLV) is pleased to announce that their 2017 vintage red have been bottled and will be on the market in a few short weeks. Not-to-be-missed are the 2017 Merlot that has been aging in French and American oak for 18 months, and the Syrah, which has been co-fermented with Viognier for maximum colour and flavour extraction.

The 2017 Merlot is full-bodied and lush, displaying notes of red cherry and raspberry for a fruit-forward finish. It’s a classic B.C. Merlot that pairs well with barbeque, burgers, and other hearty dishes like spaghetti and meatballs.

The Syrah is much-anticipated, with DLV’s last vintage from 2016 becoming a sold-out success. With the characteristic spice of a typical B.C. Syrah marrying with chocolate notes on the nose, this red is also characterized by a fruit-forward and rich taste. Made to pair with braised lamb or other grilled meats.

If you’re anxious to sample some of DLV’s bottles right away, here's a video featuring the 2018 Hush rosé. It’s the quintessential patio sipper & our top selling wine.

Look forward to the 2017 vintages hitting store shelves in May.
