Tasting Notes:
On the nose, you will find aromas of jasmine, pear and honey. You will find bright flavours of pineapple, fuzzy peaches and a kiss of honeysuckle on the finish. This wine has a slight sweetness mid-palate with a burst of freshness and a fruity finish.
Winemaker Notes:
This unique blend consists of fruit from our vineyards located in Summerland BC. Each grape varietal is fermented separately then blended together to create this fun and fruity wine. All fruit is crushed and de-stemmed with no skin contact which helps us always create a light, fruity blend. We used predominantly Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc in the blend, however it can vary from vintage to vintage. Okanagan Sweetheart will always be the favorite wine people grab when heading out to the patio!
Food Pairing Notes:
This wine is best paired with sunny weather and great friends, but leads itself to many food pairing possibilities as well. A spicy curry, Moroccan spiced pork tenderloin, roasted eggplant, this wine will hold up to some spice! For cheese pairings think lighter, softer cheeses paired with some dried fruit.
