Tasting Notes:
You will find aromas of ripe pear, lemon, honey and herbal notes. The slight effervescence you will find upon opening the bottle balances the bright acidity with flavours of Meyer lemon, crisp orchard fruit and slight amounts of honey on the finish.
Winemaker Notes:
This blend has quickly become a fan favorite and the second wine to join the Hush family. This wine is met to be fun, interesting and flavourful. All portions are fermented separately and the final blend is carefully chosen; all grapes are sourced from our Summerland Vineyards. A balanced blend of Gewürztraminer, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc, in the bottling process we add a very small amount of C02 to add a small amount of bubble. This really elevates the flavour and adds a bit of excitement to your first sip.
Food Pairing Notes:
The wine that pairs with the word summer. Garden fresh salads, fresh fruit salad, even a good pairing for a charcuterie board and a beach hang out. Fresh shucked oysters, or a cream based pasta with fresh seafood would be such a delight. If you are looking for a cheese pairing think mild - light creamy soft cheeses like a goat or whipped feta.
